Sodium hypochlorite is an oxidizing agent. It is approved for disinfection of drinking water, disinfection and bleaching. This is a greenish-yellow liquid with an active chlorine content of at least 190 g/l. The light transmission coefficient is at least 20%. The mass concentration of active chlorine in the substance is not less than 190 g/l. The mass concentration of alkali in terms of NaOH is 10–20 g/l.
